Osmoflo is proud to announce the completed commissioning on the 16th of August of a pioneering project focused on addressing the opportunities and challenges associated with brackish groundwater for the One Basin CRC.
This project, completed alongside LecLogix and Riverland Irrigation Services at Century Orchards, aims to develop innovative solutions for sourcing, treating, and managing brackish groundwater resources to enhance water security and sustainability across the Murray Darling Basin, and ultimately across the entire country.
The project, titled "Opportunities and Challenges: Identifying, Sourcing, and Treating Brackish Groundwater," is a significant initiative under the One Basin CRC’s research agenda. It seeks to explore and resolve critical issues related to brackish groundwater, which is increasingly seen as a viable alternative water source amid growing demands on traditional freshwater supplies.
Osmoflo, a leading expert in water treatment solutions, is contributing its extensive experience and technological expertise to the project. Their involvement underscores a shared commitment to advancing water management practices and tackling the complex challenges of brackish groundwater.
The project aligns with the broader goals of the One Basin CRC to drive innovation and research in water management, particularly in regions facing water scarcity and quality issues. The collaboration will involve a range of stakeholders, including researchers, industry partners, and policymakers, to ensure a holistic approach to brackish groundwater management.
