As first announced at the Australian Water Association SA Gala Dinner & Awards night, Osmoflo was awarded the R&D Excellence Award – sponsored by Water Research Australia - for the One Basin CRC ‘QuickStart” initiative.
This project focuses on exploring the use of brackish groundwater as a diversified irrigated water source, assessing its environmental, social, and economic implications.
Alongside the University of Adelaide, the Department of Environment and Water and other contributing organisations, this project identifies a demonstration desalination site, building a cost-analysis tool, and providing basin insights.
Pictured alongside our collaborators is Osmoflo CTO Neil Palmer (far left), and Julien Anese, Senior Manager for Innovation, Research & Development at Osmoflo (far right), who accepted the award on behalf of the company during the awards night at the Adelaide Oval.

Julien, along with our Innovation team, are an integral part of business both locally in Australia and internationally, and was a key contributor to the successful One Basin project in Loxton.
Osmoflo would like to thank the AWA for the recognition, and we will continue to work on projects like this that align with our purpose of creating a sustainable water future.
