Ultrafiltration followed by Seawater Reverse Osmosis
Challenge Osmoflo were contacted by the client in early 2020, to provide an emergency water solution and to assist in mitigating the effects of a drought crisis impacting on their Power Stations in Rayong.
Solution Rapid response and engagement with the client to assess their site and then the proposal of one of our SW7000 rental assets consisting of 12 x 40” containers, 1 x 20” container, 2 x 11kV electrical transformers, 1 x 11kV HP Pump skid (5t in weight).
An exceptional result achieved from a client with an urgent need, Osmoflo with an equipment solution and a collaborate team effort to deliver in the middle of a pandemic.
Result Working very closely with our client, we were able to achieve a 12 week delivery phase and water production, managing the effects of a Global pandemic (COVID-19) and the restrictions that imposed was a challenge overcome. Our project appointed technical advisor was able to provide intense remote guidance to a very capable on site construction contractor engaged by our client to reassemble the plant and transition into commissioning and performance testing before being placed into commercial operation. Commissioning was managed remotely by our specialist engineer while working from home (New Zealand). In the 3 months to date since commercial operation, the plant as easily achieve the minimum daily production capacity of 6.3MLD and in this current month being August 2020, has averaged in excess of 7.8MLD.
