Inpex - Ichthys Project
The Ichthys LNG project is located 220km off the shore of Western Australia, and is the largest discovery of hydrocarbon in the last 40 years with a total project cost of $40 billion dollars. The project is a joint venture between Daewoo and Samsung.
The Ichthys LNG Project is effectively three mega-projects rolled into one, involving some of the largest offshore facilities in the industry, a state-of-the-art onshore processing facility and an 889 km pipeline uniting them for an operational life of at least 40 years.
Osmoflo are constructing the plants at Osmoflo’s Burton facility, located in South Australia, which are then transported on completion. Both reverse osmosis and ultraviolet filtration technology is utilized, with differing specifications for the plants.
